Naveen Patnaik is the currently the 14th Chief Minister of Odisha. Born on 16th October 1946 in Cuttack, Odisha to legendary politician Biju Patnaik and Gyan Patnaik, he is set to be become the longest Chief Minister of the country.

Under Patnaik's leadership, Odisha also saw rapid industrialization. With conducive policies and industry friendly investment climate Odisha has emerged as prime destination for investment. Odisha, today accounts for over 50% of India's steel production and aluminium production. Odisha under his leadership has seen remarkable transformation in food security, sports development, infrastructure development, connectivity, financial management, poverty reduction and economic growth. He is credited for Odisha's transition from an economic laggard to one of India's leading states. His welfare measures and compassionate policies have endeared him to masses decades after decades.
